  "I have always had a passion for baking having worked in a bakery from a young age. I trained at college in baking, patisserie and cake decorating gaining all the practical skills I needed to work in the baking industry. After graduating from college I decided I would take a more technical route and did a degree in Food Science.
 

During my degree I contemplated my future and decided I would like to start my own business. I was very aware of the changes the food industry was and is still going through, as more and more people become aware of what is going into the food they eat, so decided I would produce breads by natural, traditional methods using leavens and sour doughs. I chose to trade via farmers markets as they provide towns and villages with fresh, local produce and give people a chance to speak to the producers themselves about their products. They also enable communities to support local businesses and small independant traders such as myself. Although at times it can be tough producing and selling in the same day I feel this way of selling gives me a chance to speak to my customers and develop personal relationships with them"
